FINDING US

 

Our office is conveniently located on Wickham Terrace in the inner city suburb of Spring Hill, Brisbane. We recommend in-person appointments for a range of reasons however we have secure Telehealth services available for specific patient needs and for use in certain circumstances.

As one of the historic streets in Brisbane, Queensland - Wickham Terrace is a familiar spot to many Brisbanites.  Located in Spring Hill, the location was higher than the main Brisbane township and was seen as attractive as it offered both views and cool breezes. The better ventilation associated with the breezes was believed to create a healthier place to live due to a prevailing belief at the time that illness was spread through 'bad air'. Nowadays, the Terrace is well known as the street for private medical specialists. 

 

As noted, we are located in on Level 4, Suite 5 of Wickham House - a heritage listed building on the corner of Wickham Terrace and Upper Edward Street (marked as 155 - 157 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, Brisbane, Queensland.  

 

TRANSPORT AND PARKING​

 

TRAIN

If you are travelling by train, Central Station is conveniently located across the road and the Wickham Terrace exit via the underground tunnel is directly opposite Wickham House Building where we are located.

 

BUS

If you are travelling by Bus, Bus stops are located along Wickham Terrace and near by surrounds. For more information on Bus or Train timetables, please visit the journey planner at the TRANSlink website.

 

PARKING

Subsidised parking options are provided to our patients upon making an appointment.

Other parking options include

  • The United Services Club offers off-street parking opposite to Wickham House. The entrance to the car park is on Upper Edward Street. Coming from Wickham Terrace, it is the second driveway on the left, just before the set of traffic lights

  • The Brisbane City Council Car Park (directly across the road from us with entry via Turbot Street, please check their website for entry fees)

  • Some on-street Metered parks (please note Brisbane City Council signage)

  • First Parking located at 67 Astor Terrace Spring Hill (please see their website for parking rates)

  • The Astor Terrace Car Park, located at 28 Astor Terrace, Spring Hill (again, please see their website for parking rates/entry fees).
