Dr. Jaime Yasky is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience, specialising in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and the treatment of emotional and psychosomatic disorders.
As a seasoned educator and researcher, Jaime brings a wealth of expertise to the RELATE program, combining deep clinical insight with a passion for teaching and mentorship. Jaime has held pivotal roles in academic settings, including his current position as Program Coordinator for the Master of Mental Health, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland. His extensive teaching background spans both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Chile and Australia, where he has delivered courses on clinical psychology and psychoanalytic theory. In these roles, Jaime has been dedicated to training the next generation of clinicians, particularly in navigating the complexities of psychotherapeutic practice and addressing challenging, multifaceted cases.

As a Board-Approved Supervisor and Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, Jaime fosters professional growth through supervision focused on relational dynamics, risk management, and evidence-based treatment planning. His clinical experience spans public, private, and academic settings, including roles in Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS), university clinics, and private practice. He is particularly passionate about helping early career clinicians develop the skills needed to treat complex presentations, with a focus on psychosomatic issues and the therapeutic relationship as a mechanism for change.

Jaime is currently not accepting new patients. However, Jaime is a member of the Teaching Faculty and Supervisory team for our RELATE and CURIOUS programs at THE SUITES. ​​
